About ADG.Boston
Made to Order. Crafted to Last. ✂️✨
We’re Mary and Bob — a designer 🎨 and a martial artist 🥋🥊 building a small, independent clothing brand in Boston. ADG.Boston stands for Alfano Dry Goods, named after Mary’s grandfather’s store, founded in East Boston over 100 years ago. We’re continuing that legacy with a focus on intentional, durable, slow fashion.
What we make:
ADG Boston specializes in made-to-order jackets, short coats, and shirt-jackets using premium natural fabrics. Our signature look is called MotoStripe™ — a clean racing stripe that runs from cuff to cuff across the chest and back. It’s a bold, sports-inspired design built on our motto: “Just Colors. No Logos.”
Why we make it this way:
Instead of mass-producing inventory, every ADG piece is cut and sewn after someone places an order. That lets us minimize waste, avoid overproduction, and create clothing designed to be worn for years. Most orders ship in about 4–5 weeks because each garment is made specifically for the customer.
How we work:
We partner with a low-waste factory that prioritizes sustainability and fair working conditions. Our production process is slow on purpose — thoughtful materials, small batches, and quality over quantity.
Where you’ll find us:
We’re often around Boston offering street try-ons and spontaneous meetups so people can feel the fabrics, try pieces on, and talk to us in person. We love real conversation and connection — it’s the heart of ADG and the future we’re building.
